Rechargeable batteries or rechargeable battery?
I have a Wii and Xbox 360. I have 4 controllers for both consoles, but not always used same time. Do I get the rechargeable battery pack for each driver (a bit expensive) or just some Energizer AA rechargeable batteries with a charger.
I never been a fan of proprietary battery systems. AA NiMH (and a decent charger) for as many applications as possible, saves lot of duplication, also a load of game system and avoids the difficult situation in which all parts are flat. Pre-loaded NiMH long-term storage (eg batteries Eneloop or similar) can help ensure you have enough energy cells that have ceased long – alternatively, you need a charger that is smart enough for further assistance. Before choosing a system of packaging other (and preferably, chasing a cheap clone Pack), has to wonder what the advantage is – perhaps providing the measure, may be responsible and implementation capacity.
